You'll need to complete the following list of task before you're able to use your cold brew dispenser for the first time.

  1. Remove the exterior and interior packaging.

  2. Before connecting the unit to the power source, let it stand upright for approximately 8 hours. This will reduce

  3. the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation.

  4. Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.

  5. This appliance is designed for freestanding use. If you are going to put it under a countertop, you must leave 2"

  6. of unobstructed space around the unit for heat dissipation.

  7. Place the unit on a flat, solid floor that is strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded. To level the

  8. appliance, adjust the rolling casters at the bottom of the unit.

  9. When moving your refrigerator, please do not incline it more than 45 degrees.

  10. Locate the appliance away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.). Direct sunlight

  11. may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption.

  12. The kegerator should be placed in an area where the ambient temperature is less than 100 degrees Fahrenheit

  13. and higher than the lowest temperature you want to store your kegs at. If the ambient temperature is lower

  14. than the set temperature, the internal temperature will match the ambient temperature.

  15. Do not mount the draft tower remotely, as the exposed beer line will not be refrigerated, causing foam.

  16. Avoid locating the unit in damp areas.

  17. Plug the refrigerator into an exclusive, properly installed and grounded wall outlet. Do not under any

  18. circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. Any questions concerning power

  19. and/or electrical grounding should be directed to a certified electrician or authorized products service center.

  20. After plugging the appliance into a wall outlet, allow the unit to cool down for 3 to 4 hours before installing a

  21. keg in the appliance.

  22. The stainless steel version has a protective film on the door to prevent scratches during transit. The film can be

  23. peeled off if scratches are present.
